Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Automotive Integration Specialist II will play a vital role in the assembly and testing of vehicular systems. This position requires a solid foundation in engineering technology, electronics, or related fields, along with hands-on experience in the industry.

Educational Background:

Applicants should possess an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, mathematics, or science. Alternatively, formal training in electronics from a recognized technical institution or military school, or completion of a four-year electronics apprenticeship program is acceptable. A High School diploma or GED is also a minimum requirement.

Professional Experience:

Candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience with a degree or formal training, or four (4) years of experience with a High School diploma or GED. Experience should include:

  • Following detailed instructions and assembling standard equipment or components.
  • Servicing and repairing basic instruments or equipment.
  • Conducting tests using established protocols, preparing test samples, and operating equipment.
  • Recording test results and identifying discrepancies due to equipment malfunctions or observational errors.
  • Extracting and processing engineering data from various sources, applying fundamental algebra and geometry, and presenting findings in a specified format.

The individual should be capable of executing standardized tasks that involve a series of related operations, adhering to established work methods for routine assignments while receiving clear guidance on unfamiliar tasks. The technical quality of routine work will be reviewed upon completion, while non-routine tasks may be subject to ongoing review.

Essential Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain a Position of Trust designation from the U.S. Government.
  • Successful completion of a background check by the prospective employer.
  • Willingness to work on-site.
