Job Title: Health Benefit Representative

Job Summary:

The Health Benefit Representative is responsible for selling Fidelis Care products and services by identifying membership growth opportunities in an assigned territory and meeting or exceeding production goals. This role requires a deep understanding of Fidelis Care products, including "metal" products offered through the New York State of Health (NYSOH), Medicaid Managed Care, Child Health Plus, Medicare, MLTC, FIDA, and HARP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct needs-based analysis to understand and recommend the best product for individuals' unique needs.
  • Interact directly with individuals, educating them on healthy lifestyles, preventive care services, and assisting them through each step of the application and enrollment process.
  • Represent Fidelis Care at various community events, marketing sites, and in individuals' homes.
  • Build and establish relationships within the community to find new opportunities and sites in the assigned territory.
  • Deliver presentations to educate and promote Fidelis Care products to individuals, groups, providers, community-based organizations, and local business leaders.
  • Thoroughly understand and regularly use the Sales Force CRM as an activity tracking and lead/referral tracking tool.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED, required.
  • 2 to 5 years prior experience in managed care, sales, customer service, or related experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Driver's License required.
