Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Process requests for medical records and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare providers
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve departmental goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Successful completion of a medical front office program or on-the-job training with an emphasis on customer service
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology desired
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team-based setting with fluctuating priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Athena EMR experience
  • Professional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
