About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery to join our team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients and their families, ensuring a safe and supportive environment throughout their hospital stay.

Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and scientific judgment to deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and professionalism.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree, Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
