Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Create and implement comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Patient Progress: Continuously assess and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred.
  • Certifications: BLS required. RN License in state of employment or compact.
