We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to join our team at Methodist Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
  • Demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team.
  • Have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse with Neonate Resuscitate, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
