Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional sales and service experiences to our customers, building strong relationships, and driving business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with the banking team to achieve sales and service goals, identifying opportunities to grow the business.
  • Stay up-to-date with banking products and services, providing expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Participate in community activities and events, promoting Mercantile Bank and building relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience in customer service in a retail sales environment.
  • Experience with needs-based selling and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Experience working in Retail Banking is preferred.
