Job Summary:

The Maintenance Director will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds to maintain proper care of the community in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards/regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the community maintenance and other equipment to ensure the upkeep of the facility.
  • Conduct regular inspections of life safety systems, including fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems, to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure the outside of the property is maintained, including landscaping, snow removal, and garbage/trash removal, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in a long-term care facility.
  • Valid State Driver's License required for vehicle travel, as needed.
  • Flexibility with schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and ability to attend off-hours maintenance calls.
  • Life Safety Code and Safety Code Enforcement knowledge and experience.
