IT Director

Bollinger Motors, a rapidly growing startup based in Oak Park, MI, is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our Information Systems enterprises. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building scalable systems and processes, developing collaborative relationships at all levels, and ensuring a high level of uptime and service.

• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, translating business objectives into robust technological solutions and vice versa.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads of each business organization.
• Manage a broad portfolio of business systems and product development applications.
• Manage directly:
  • Operations systems support for ERP (PLEX) and MES (NYSUS) implementation and maintenance.
  • Sales CRM (Salesforce) implementation and maintenance.
  • Finance (Adaptive) implementation and maintenance.
  • IT Security systems implementation and future-proofing.
  • IT hardware infrastructure.
• Manage indirectly:
  • PLM (3DX) through CPO.
  • IT Services and Helpdesk through HR Director.

• A bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing information technology projects.
• 5+ years' experience working with automotive, industrial, or manufacturing companies required.
• Broad understanding of ERPs, PLM, CRM, MES, cybersecurity, administration of laptops, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Experience in leading systems implementation projects is required.
• Extensive experience managing third-party vendors is preferred.
• Experience in integrating acquired businesses is a plus.
• Experience working in a start-up organization is a plus.
• Excellent customer service, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build partnerships at staff and management levels, and across functions.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with keen attention to detail, with strong sense of ethics and the ability to maintain confidential information.
• Adept at interfacing with executive teams and delivering impactful presentations clearly.
