SUMMARY:

This position is integral to the Marketing and Communications department, collaborating closely with various divisions within CCM Health. The role is designed to further CCM Health's mission by leading, coordinating, and crafting applications for state, federal, and private grant funding, while also engaging in initiatives that support CCM Health's strategic objectives. This includes researching and composing grant proposals aimed at securing financial support from governmental bodies, private funding organizations, and individual benefactors.

Additionally, this role encompasses the planning and execution of fundraising strategies within CCM Health, aiding in the acquisition and management of essential contributions from our supportive community. The position is crucial in identifying, recognizing, processing, and tracking donations, as well as assisting CCM Health with fundraising, stewardship, and reporting efforts related to employee contributions, annual campaigns, major gifts, fundraising events, and capital initiatives.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing and Communications, along with other leadership figures at CCM Health, to provide project support and guidance, identify grant opportunities, and perform data analysis and presentations as required.

Conduct ongoing assessments for grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities, including service line enhancement, quality improvement, safety enhancement, and more.

Oversee all grant application processes for CCM Health from initiation to completion.

  • Draft high-quality, persuasive grant proposals, including narratives, applications, and supplementary documents.
  • Maintain foundational proposals across all program sectors.
  • Collaborate with leadership to compile financial data and relevant information.
  • Manage the proposal submission workflow to ensure timely delivery of all necessary materials.
  • Foster and manage relationships with both existing and prospective funders.
  • Provide updates on the status of submitted proposals.
  • Conduct research to identify, cultivate, and solicit new grant opportunities.
  • Monitor grant resources for potential funding opportunities.
  • Track deadlines and prepare grant reports as needed.
  • Work with departmental staff to consistently gather data on program outcomes and report back to funders.
  • Maintain organized grant documentation.
  • Develop an annual strategy for grants and a proposal calendar based on fundraising objectives.

Coordinate fundraising initiatives for CCM Health from conception to execution.

  • Research potential donors.
  • Craft a compelling fundraising narrative that resonates with prospective donors.
  • Identify and reach out to potential contributors.
  • Utilize online platforms to generate donations.
  • Organize campaigns or events aimed at soliciting contributions.
  • Keep detailed records of donor information.
  • Assess the effectiveness of previous fundraising activities.
  • Train volunteers on fundraising protocols and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal reporting obligations.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year institution.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in grant writing and philanthropy is preferred.
