Brookside Senior Living, a 57-unit facility, is currently seeking a compassionate and energetic Senior Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting engaging recreational activities for our residents in our Memory Care unit. You will also provide care and support for our residents with activities of daily living. We are offering a competitive hourly rate of approximately $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience, in addition to a Bonus of $500 for your dedication to Brookside

This is a Part-Time, benefit eligible position working 32 hours a week including every other weekend and holiday. The pay rate is estimated based on the location in Greater MN and the experience required for the position.

Senior Life Enrichment Coordinator responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement programs that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and physical activity for our residents.
  2. Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide support with medication administration.
  3. Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
  4. Assist with mobility and transportation care.
  5. Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
  6. Maintain records of each resident's participation in activities and programs.
  7. Function as a team member with other staff in the performance of duties.

Senior Life Enrichment Coordinator skills and requirements:

  1. Current Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate preferred but not required.
  2. Home Health Aide (HHA) experience required.
  3. Must be punctual, with a good attendance record.
  4. Experienced working with advanced stages of dementia preferred.
  5. Creative aptitude for training in arts, crafts, and games.
  6. Good communication skills, including ability to give directions to others in a manner that is pleasant and easily understood.
  7. Ability to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude in promoting activities.
