Job Overview

Nassau Candy is a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of candy, specialty confections, and gourmet foods. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Customer Service / Live Chat Agent to join our dynamic team in Hicksville.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to effectively respond to customer inquiries and provide a stellar level of customer experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Screening potential customers and connecting them with the appropriate Customer Service and Sales team members
  • Providing a high level of customer service through live chat and email
  • Assisting with lead generation and qualification
  • Collaborating with the sales team to meet business objectives
  • Performing other duties as needed to support the team's success

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field
  • High school diploma required
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Prior experience with live chat and ERP systems preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to think and respond quickly and intelligently
