About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Governance Officer to join our team at Takeda Pharmaceuticals. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the global data access management and privacy classification practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Strategize and architect innovative platforms and solutions to strengthen data classification and fine-grained data access management practices">
  • Lead global initiatives on data access management, data privacy classification, data anonymization/tokenization, and data audits">
  • Build a data access management roadmap to support new capabilities like AI/Gen AI">
  • Liaise with internal and external partners to deliver strategic programs on time, budget, and quality">
  • Implement data access management and data privacy classification tools and platforms globally">
  • Hire, lead, and develop a team of senior experts and managers">
  • Develop an ecosystem of partners across the GDDT by building strong relationships with external companies/vendors and senior Takeda leaders">

Requirements

">
  • ">
  • University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field">
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product ownership, global delivery leadership, or team leadership capacity">
  • 7+ years of Identity and Access Management, Privacy Classification, Data Anonymization & Tokenization, and Data Audit work experience in the Pharmaceutical or heavily regulated industry">
  • Architecting access management tools like Immuta for global organizations">
  • Understanding new capabilities like AI/Gen AI and access management support needed">
  • Knowledge of the patient data ecosystem, its laws, and data anonymization requirements">

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $169,400 - $266,200 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we provide benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) plan, company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits.
