Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Research Data Steward Lead to join our dynamic team at GSK. As a key member of our Research Data Standards & Governance team, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining data standards and governance practices, ensuring data quality, accuracy, retention, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain data standards and governance practices, ensuring data quality, accuracy, retention, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Scientific Knowledge Engineers, Data Architects, and IT teams, to implement data governance policies and standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive standardized definitions for scientific and operational metadata, aligning with industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Science or Data-related field.
- 5+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Experience in implementing data governance, data standards, and policies, e.g., Data Integrity ALCOA and FAIR data standards.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Python, to apply techniques like pre-processing, classification, regression, clustering, dimensionality reduction, and model selection.

Estimated Salary Range:$120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
