Job Description Summary

The Principal, Security and IT is responsible for leading the Security and IT Leadership Team, overseeing the operations, and ensuring the success of the Security and IT portfolio.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Oversight of business operations for the Security/IT organization, providing critical support to senior leadership on key decisions.
  • Development of innovative Security/IT principles, establishing and implementing best practices to enable transformation.
  • Subject Matter Expert in multidisciplinary aspects of Security/IT, including special access programs, sensitive compartmented information programs, personnel security, strategy, metrics, and trends.
  • Point Of Contact for the Chief Security Officer (CSO)/Chief Information Officer (CIO), orchestrating strategic leadership off-sites and coordinating organization-wide meetings.
  • Development, execution, management, and monitoring of tracking mechanisms to maintain organization-wide metrics, velocity metrics, and trends.
  • Leading a matrixed multidisciplinary team to administer the strategy and key objectives, boosting operational efficiency and engagement.
  • Project manager for various initiatives, improving retention, culture, efficiency, and communication.
  • Support and briefings to the Executive Leadership Team partner on a wide-range of topics.
  • Liaison between Security and IT and business units/functions, administering the strategic plan and executing through related strategic projects.
  • Developing and implementing methods of inspection, audit, and analysis of all Draper security functions.
  • Spearheading the launch and ongoing management of the transformation of the Security and IT brand.
Requirements

A current Top Secret security clearance is required.

Bachelor's degree combined with Security and IT experience, master's degree preferred. Requires 8+ years' Security and IT experience in large scale, highly complex Department of Defense programs In-scope TS/SCI with SAP experience.
