Mental Health Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Program Manager to join our team at Seattle Children's. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for managing, assessing, and enhancing the provision of mental health assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents, and families.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with department directors, physicians, and clinical staff to develop and implement strategies for continuous quality improvement, customer service, programmatic growth, and financial requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor staffing plans, scheduling, and staff development to meet current and anticipated needs and maintain compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with departmental and hospital leadership to develop, integrate, and expand Psychiatry Consultation and Emergency Department Mental Health programs throughout the hospital and the region.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Minimum of two years' experience providing direct treatment services.
- Licensed as a Mental Health Professional in Washington State, licensed in appropriate field according to degree (e.g., LICSW, LMHC) or 5 years of equivalent experience with requirement to get licensed in appropriate field according to degree (e.g., LICSW, LMHC) within 1 year of hire.
- Safety Care certification (internal training) required within 3 months of hire and annually thereafter.
- Leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Minority Mental Health Specialist designation.
- Experience working with multi-system involved children with severe behavioral problems and/or developmental disabilities.
- Experience with the King County MHP and Washington State Mental Health WACs.
- Experience providing comprehensive intake evaluations with multi-axial diagnoses.
We offer a competitive salary range of $111,167.00 to $167,856.00 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision plans, 403(b), life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
