3D Infotech Inc is a growing company that provides innovative metrology solutions to the aerospace and automotive industries. We are seeking a skilled Metrology Solutions Engineer to join our team in the St. Louis area.

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced professional who will be responsible for fulfilling all metrology application needs related to the utilization of PolyWorks software with various metrology systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and master PolyWorks software for dimensional inspection
  • Familiarize yourself with 3D scanning technologies, including laser and structured light (camera) based systems
  • Scan and analyze parts, generating detailed inspection reports for customers
  • Conduct product demonstrations for clients, both in-person and remotely
  • Deliver online, classroom, and on-site training sessions to customers
  • Provide exceptional customer support through phone and email communications
  • Collaborate with our software development team to identify areas for product improvement
  • Develop macro scripts to automate repetitive tasks
  • Design simple components from time to time

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience in the field
  • Mechanical CAD expertise, specifically with CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools
  • Able to work effectively with power tools and lift up to 100 lbs without assistance
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time to various locations within the USA and possibly internationally
  • Located in or willing to relocate to the Irvine area if necessary
  • Must be able to work in the office full-time, not remote or long-distance commute
  • Must be a permanent resident or US citizen

Salary and Benefits:
