Job Overview

3D Infotech Inc is a pioneering company in the field of portable and automated metrology solutions for aerospace and automotive industries. As a Senior Metrology Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for fulfilling all metrology application needs related to PolyWorks software and various metrology systems.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage PolyWorks software for dimensional inspection and analysis
  • Analyze parts using laser and structured light technologies
  • Generate inspection reports for customers and provide feedback for product improvements
  • Conduct in-person and web-based demonstrations for customers
  • Deliver online, classroom, and onsite training sessions
  • Prioritize customer support calls and emails
  • Collaborate with the software development team for feature enhancements
  • Create macro scripts to automate repetitive tasks
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience
  • Proficiency in mechanical CAD (CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Familiarity with power tools and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and site visits
  • Ability to relocate to the Irvine area if required
  • Able to work in an office environment and not as a remote worker or long-distance commuter
  • Must be a Permanent resident or US citizen
