Role and Responsibilities
As a Life Insurance Sales Agent, you will be responsible for conducting sales presentations, recommending products, closing sales, and using our Customer Care Sales Model. You will also be expected to continuously prospect for sales opportunities, collect premiums from policyholders, and respond promptly to policyholder service requests.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Conducting sales presentations and recommending products
- Continuously prospecting for sales opportunities
- Collecting premiums from policyholders
- Responding to policyholder service requests
- Keeping records and processing paperwork
Our Expectations
- Increase the agency size
- Build strong working relationships with customers
- Devote time to fulfill responsibilities
- Commit to ongoing development of knowledge and skills
Minimum Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Ability to visit customers and prospects door-to-door
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with 100k/300k auto insurance coverage
- Dependable vehicle for daily travel
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report check, and drug screening
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preparation and Training
- Licensing assistance and guidance
- Basic training program including self-study, classroom time, role-play, and extensive fieldwork
- On-the-job training for new agents
