The Registrar's Office at Gustavus Adolphus College seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Registration Specialist 2 to assist in managing the office's major functions. This role will provide exceptional customer service to all college stakeholders while working closely with faculty, department chairs, and the Provost's Office.
Main Responsibilities- Collaborate with faculty and department chairs to develop and process changes to the master class schedule for each academic term.
- Enter building and classroom assignments, resolve room conflicts, and process room changes for the master schedule.
- Monitor registration issues, communicate information to students, and resolve conflicts.
- Verify and report athletic eligibility information according to the published schedule.
- Compile and report student enrollment, graduation, and withdrawal information to the National Student Clearinghouse.
- Process office forms, review and process language and equivalency exam placement, and process language waivers for international and accommodated students.
- Assist with office functions, including answering phones, processing mail, and responding to counter requests.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and perform required tasks in a timely manner. A high level of confidentiality and discretion is required when handling sensitive information.
