Position Overview

Remington College is in search of a qualified Medical Assisting Instructor

We are looking for a passionate and skilled health science professional (RN/LPN, certified medical assistant, etc.) with a solid background in outpatient care, ideally with teaching experience. If you are committed to imparting knowledge, inspiring students, and prioritizing their success, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Program Chair and/or the Campus Dean to facilitate learning at our Nashville Campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements lesson plans utilizing industry-standard techniques (e.g., multimedia, adult learning strategies).
  • Conducts assigned courses, assesses and guides students, fosters skill development, monitors attendance, performance, and grading.
  • Engages in various administrative functions (e.g., attending faculty/staff meetings or in-service training).
  • Participates in graduation events as required.
  • Regularly engages in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
  • Undertakes additional duties or special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in a medical setting, with comprehensive knowledge of applicable procedures.
  • Required certification as RMA, CMA, or CCMA.
