Position Overview

Remington College is in search of a skilled Medical Assisting Instructor

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable health science professional (RN/LPN, certified medical assistant, etc.) with experience in outpatient care settings. If you have a background in teaching and a commitment to fostering student success, we invite you to consider this opportunity.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Program Chair and/or the Campus Dean to deliver high-quality education at our Nashville Campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops comprehensive lesson plans utilizing effective teaching strategies (e.g., multimedia tools, adult learning principles).
  • Instructs and assesses students in assigned courses, enhancing their skills and promoting their academic growth while monitoring attendance, performance, and grades.
  • Engages in various administrative duties (e.g., attending faculty meetings and professional development sessions).
  • Participates in graduation events as required.
  • Commits to ongoing professional development activities.
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities or special projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a diploma.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a medical setting, with practical knowledge of applicable procedures.
  • Certification as RMA, CMA, or CCMA is mandatory.
