About the Opportunity

The University of Minnesota is seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as a Transplant Nephrology Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our Kidney Transplant program, while also advancing the field of nephrology and transplantation through research and education.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional clinical care to patients with kidney disease and transplant needs
  • Conduct research in nephrology and transplantation, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and advancing the field
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in nephrology and transplantation
  • Participate in departmental and hospital-wide committees and initiatives
Requirements
  • MD or international equivalent
  • Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology and Transplant Nephrology fellowship-training programs
  • Board eligible/certified with the ABIM in internal medicine and nephrology
  • Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior or current funding to conduct research in nephrology and transplantation
  • 3-5 years minimum clinical experience in Transplant Nephrology
