The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Minnesota Medical School is seeking a highly qualified clinical faculty member to serve as Director of the HLA/Transplant Immunology Laboratory. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to lead a large laboratory program that supports preeminent solid organ and stem cell transplant programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the HLA/Transplant Immunology Laboratory team to ensure high-quality testing and patient care
- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless patient care and laboratory operations
- Provide educational and training programs for laboratory staff and residents
- Contribute to the development of research projects and scholarly activities
Requirements:
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota
- Board certification by the American Board for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI)
- Qualifications as Laboratory Director, Technical Supervisor, and Clinical Consultant for the subspecialty Histocompatibility, under the 2023 CLIA Final Rule
- Board Certification in CP or AP/CP by the American Board of Pathology
- PhD with board certification by the American Board of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ABHI)
