Position Summary:
This role reports directly to the Outreach and Admissions Manager and is classified as a salaried, exempt position. The Enrollment Specialist is tasked with executing outreach initiatives and direct recruitment efforts, collaborating with various outreach partners, and assessing student eligibility for enrollment in alignment with program requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold and demonstrate the core values and operational principles of Eckerd Youth Alternatives.
- Contribute to the Career Development Services System (CDSS) in relation to personal role, departmental objectives, and overall organizational goals.
- Ensure the secure handling of all Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
- Engage in direct recruitment activities, including public speaking engagements.
- Attend and represent the organization at various community events such as job fairs and resource fairs.
- Establish and nurture relationships with referral sources including educational institutions, community organizations, and government agencies to identify prospective students.
- Conduct interviews with potential candidates to gather necessary information for eligibility assessments.
- Monitor student progress, including duration of stay and transitions.
- Maintain consistent communication with the center regarding input needs and coordinate outreach efforts with the Career Transition Services (CTS) team.
- Clearly articulate and exemplify essential employability skills and personal accountability.
- Ensure safety practices are adhered to in all areas of responsibility.
- Complete all required documentation for enrollment in accordance with organizational standards.
- Participate in advisory councils and community relations initiatives as assigned.
- Engage in student orientation sessions and contribute to the development of outreach policies and procedures.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive environment that promotes safety and learning for all staff and students.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as human services, psychology, counseling, education, or social sciences; or an Associate's degree with related experience.
- Previous experience in outreach and admissions, particularly within youth development programs, is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is desirable.

Additional Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain a valid CPR/First Aid certification.
- Capability to effectively engage and motivate students.
- Proficiency in operating office equipment and fostering teamwork.
