We are currently in search of a proficient HVAC Technician. The successful candidate will possess a solid background in the installation, upkeep, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Attention to detail, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve HVAC challenges are essential.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install and service HVAC systems and components in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensure all tasks are executed professionally, promptly, and accurately while adhering to company policies.
  • Maintain a safe working environment during installations and service calls.
  • Follow directives from the Lead Installer or Service Technician regarding the scope of work.
  • Complete all assignments in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Possess a solid understanding of HVAC principles and electrical systems.
  • Accurately measure jobs to determine necessary materials.
  • Install household appliances as required.
  • Receive, verify, and load equipment and materials for each assignment while managing inventory on the service vehicle.
  • Keep the company vehicle in good condition and report maintenance needs to management.
  • Assist and mentor junior associates as directed.
  • Complete all necessary documentation before the end of the work shift.
  • Utilize test instruments and understand the significance of the readings obtained.
  • Adhere to national, state, and local mechanical, electrical, and plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Communicate job status and any potential delays to the office dispatcher or supervisor.
  • Maintain all company tools in proper working order and ensure their safety for use.
  • Conduct all work in a professional manner, treating customers with respect and reporting any issues to management immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of a relevant trade program is preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in HVAC installation.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in HVAC service.
  • Must meet the qualifications of an HVAC Installer.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC installation, service, and associated tools and instruments.
  • Must hold EPA 608 certification.
  • Exhibit strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work on-call and during overtime hours as needed.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Adhere to the rules and regulations outlined in the company handbook.
