Job Overview

The HVAC Installation Technician Trainee will engage in both semi-skilled and skilled tasks related to the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role emphasizes outstanding customer service while educating clients on technical and investment choices by presenting various options and solutions during installations in residential settings.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the crew leader in the installation of air conditioning systems and furnaces.
  • Assist in the installation and replacement of gas furnaces, air conditioning units, heat pumps, electric furnaces, packaged terminal units, ductless split systems, as well as humidification and dehumidification equipment, electronic air cleaners, and air purification systems.
  • Provide clear explanations of services rendered to customers.
  • Document invoices accurately, including the age and type of each system component, services performed, and associated costs.
  • Engage with customers regarding their current and future equipment or service needs.
  • Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and organized manner, both inside and out.
  • Uphold a professional appearance at all times.
  • Participate in all company-sponsored training sessions.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred: GED or High School Diploma.
  • Understanding of the operational functionality of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
  • Effective and courteous communication skills with customers.
  • Ability to follow work direction from the crew leader respectfully.
  • Possession of necessary trade tools.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
