About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach introductory sociology courses at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College. The successful candidate will have a master's degree in Sociology or a related field and at least one year of teaching experience in a college setting.

Responsibilities
  • Teach assigned undergraduate courses in sociology, including introductory courses and potentially other courses such as Introduction to Social Inequality, Contemporary Social Problems, Sociology of the Family, Drugs & Society, and Global Communities.
  • Use best practices to continually evaluate student coursework and provide feedback to students.
  • Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of their responsibilities, such as participating in professional development workshops and holding regular office hours to meet with students.
  • Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related and student communications.
Requirements

A master's degree (or higher) in Sociology or a related field is required. At least one year of teaching experience in a college setting is preferred.
