Teaching Opportunities in Engineering and Computing Education

The Department of Engineering & Computing Education (DECE) at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for a Term-Adjunct position in Engineering and Computing Education. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with industry or higher education teaching experience to join our team and contribute to the education of undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Engineering and Applied Science.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the College of Engineering and Applied Science.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching methods to promote student learning and success.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to promote excellence in teaching and learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or closely related STEM field for undergraduate courses.
  • Master's degree in an engineering discipline or closely related STEM field with 5+ years of professional experience for graduate courses.
  • Industry or higher education teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated background suitable to teach one or more of the following courses: ENED 1020, ENED 1090, ENED 1091, ENED 1100, ENED 1120, ENED 3061, ENED 3066.
