Role OverviewAs a Content Delivery Specialist, you will report to the Director of Global Account Services. In this pivotal position, you will ensure that our audience can access our award-winning content on anticipated launch dates.
You will be part of a skilled team within the newly established Account Servicing department, focusing on delivering exceptional service and acting as the primary contact for our partners and vendors. Your experience in media content servicing will contribute valuable insights and efficiencies to our operations during this growth phase.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Assembly and Management:
- Collaborate with various teams (production management, media operations, localization, program management, metadata, and creative) to ensure all video, audio, subtitles, closed captions, metadata, artwork, and availability are prepared for program launches according to platform specifications.
- Prequalify availability and metadata to guarantee proper launches on the third-party platforms hosting the Crunchyroll App.
- Maintain comprehensive electronic delivery sheets (EDLs) or fulfillment records for each project, detailing file versions, destinations, deadlines, and special requirements.
Technical Expertise:
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of availability and metadata to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Possess in-depth understanding of metadata requirements for streaming platforms, with the capability to effectively address metadata issues that arise on partner sites upon launch.
- Stay informed about the latest content delivery requirements for third-party platforms to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges during content preparation or delivery processes.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Engage with internal and external partners regarding delivery schedules, specifications, and potential challenges.
- Maintain records for all deliveries and rejections.
- Work with the content delivery team to develop efficient workflows that enhance the fulfillment process.
8+ years of experience in content fulfillment for streaming platforms, television, or home video distribution.
In-depth knowledge of availability, metadata, streaming platform delivery requirements, digital video and audio formats, timed text assets, and secondary audio.
Ability to thrive in a problem-solving environment.
Experience with content delivery systems and platforms.
Understanding of digital video and audio formats, codecs, and file specifications for multiple deliverables.
