Position Summary
At Edison Valerio - State Farm Agent, we are in search of a detail-oriented and proactive individual to assist with administrative tasks and support our insurance agents in building and maintaining client relationships. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture customer relationships, ensuring timely follow-ups as necessary.
  • Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous customer service, addressing inquiries related to insurance options, eligibility, coverage details, policy modifications, claims, and billing.
  • Utilize a customer-centric, needs-based assessment approach to inform clients about various insurance products.
  • Employ exceptional communication skills to effectively address customer needs while fostering business growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior sales experience is advantageous, though not mandatory. Candidates demonstrating a strong enthusiasm for sales and possessing excellent communication skills in both English and a second language will be considered.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, capable of establishing rapport and cultivating relationships with clients in both English and a second language.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, able to clarify complex insurance topics in a straightforward manner in both English and a second language.
  • Self-driven and motivated to meet sales objectives, with the capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with insurance products, policies, and industry standards is beneficial but not essential. A willingness to learn and acquire necessary licenses and certifications is expected.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and CRM systems, to manage client data, monitor sales activities, and produce reports.
  • Exemplary integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all business interactions.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings as required.
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Sales experience (whether in outside sales, inside sales, retail, or telemarketing) is preferred.
  • Able to obtain Property and Casualty License.
  • Able to obtain a Life/Health License.
  • Able to achieve mutually agreed-upon marketing objectives.
  • Interest in marketing products and services tailored to customer needs.
