Job Summary:

The Shift Leader plays a vital role in supporting the store management team's daily operations at a Krystal restaurant, aligning with the Brand Vision, Mission, and Promise while embodying Krystal's Core Values.

This role involves working closely with the management team to ensure compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including product preparation and delivery, customer service, facilities maintenance, and financial accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • People:
    • Assist the management team in building high-performing employees through training, retention, and recognition, utilizing Krystal's tools and processes.
    • Partner with the management team to execute the Performance Management process consistently, ensuring employees are set up for success and held accountable.
  • Customer:
    • Drive a customer-focused culture by serving as a role model in resolving customer issues and partnering with the management team to train employees to meet or exceed customer service standards.
    • Coach and recognize employees for excellence in core operational procedures through the use of the OSM and Company systems.
  • Sales:
    • Partner with the management team to ensure that restaurant-level plans and marketing initiatives are in place and being implemented.
  • Profit:
    • Execute cash, security, inventory, labor, and food control procedures during shifts and take appropriate actions to identify and close gaps.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Servsafe certification required.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred with one or more years of restaurant experience.
  • Proficient level knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
  • May be required to travel to other locations, such as other stores, banks, or meetings as business dictates.
