Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at TransForce. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with heavy-duty trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body component issues on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and repair complex issues.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and drivers to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to corporate and OSHA standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy-duty truck repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of suspension, brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CDL Class B license (within 12 months).
  • ASE certification in diesel mechanics.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and software.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, working in a fast-paced maintenance environment. You will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions and may be exposed to extreme temperatures.
