Ryder is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines and after-treatment systems
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repairs
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • Valid CDL Class A license preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate: $32.00 per hour based on experience
  • Additional performance incentives paid every month
  • Sign-on bonus: $1250 at 30 days and $1250 at 90 days
  • Benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K savings plan, and more
