Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong leader to oversee the Patient Access Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare operations and be able to drive process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Patient Access Operations team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and optimize patient access processes to reduce wait times, improve patient satisfaction, and increase revenue cycle performance.
  • Team Development: Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team, providing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical and administrative departments, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient access services.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the Patient Access Operations team, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in patient access or healthcare operations, with a proven track record of leadership and process improvement.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and drive process improvements.
  • Certifications: Certified Healthcare Revenue Cycle Specialist (CHRCS) or Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) certification preferred.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer service and patient satisfaction. The role will require occasional travel to meet with team members and stakeholders.
