Job Overview

Steed Global is seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our team of professionals in the commercial concrete construction industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate drawings using CAD software, ensuring projects are built to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and Design: Create precise drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details for various concrete structures, utilizing industry-standard CAD software.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure drawings accurately reflect project specifications and requirements.
  • Technical Accuracy: Maintain a high level of accuracy in all drawings, adhering to industry standards and company specifications.
  • Revisions and Updates: Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain complete and organized drawing files.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to construction crews and project managers regarding drawing interpretation and clarification.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Drafting Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and related drafting tools, strong understanding of construction principles and practices, particularly related to commercial concrete.
  • Qualifications: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications, excellent attention to detail, and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
