Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Drainage Project Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in the Dallas-Fort Worth area or other central Texas regions. This role involves contributing to a variety of civil land development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, create drainage studies and reports, conduct hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, and develop designs and drawings in alignment with client specifications and Project Manager directives.
  • Generate engineering plan sets, specifications, and comprehensive documentation packages while adhering to standard operating procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on personal work and that of peers to ensure the delivery of accurate and complete engineering plans.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of drainage engineering experience, with local expertise required.
  • Possession of a Texas PE license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Extensive experience in designing grading and drainage plans, including detention and water quality ponds, storm sewer systems, and utility improvements.
  • Familiarity with Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeling software such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, and CUHP.

Salary Range:

$90,000-$130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
