The Amazon Fresh Grocery division is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to become a vital part of our innovative team.

Your Role

As an Inventory Control Manager (ICM) at Amazon Fresh Grocery, you will play a pivotal role in crafting strategic business plans and managing supply chain operations and inventory oversight. You will naturally lead cross-departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and optimizing cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee inventory availability and health, focusing on improving stock levels, inventory forecasting, vendor efficiency, and waste minimization.
  • Lead strategic initiatives across functions to enhance customer experiences and streamline the overall cost structure.
  • Conduct in-depth business analyses to pinpoint opportunities for revenue enhancement and profitability growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tools, automate processes, and improve workflows related to purchasing and vendor management.

About Our Team

Our mission is to elevate the grocery shopping experience by optimizing vendor performance, enhancing distribution center operations, and fostering essential relationships with distributors. The Grocery Retail Inbound Team (GRIT) is the backbone of Amazon Fresh Grocery's supply chain success, focusing on seamless goods flow and long-term planning for distribution strategies and vendor collaborations.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or project management.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute large-scale projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience in working with complex data sets and proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SQL, familiarity with retail or wholesale business practices, and knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma are highly desirable.

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the labor market across various U.S. regions. The base salary for this position varies based on geographic location and may range significantly. Additional compensation may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.
