Sisters' Care Advocate

As a Sisters' Care Advocate, you will be an integral part of our team at Notre Dame Long Term Care Center. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional support and care to our resident sisters.
The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on 32 hours of work per week. This compensation package includes a competitive hourly rate and benefits that promote a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit with sister-residents regularly to understand their needs and preferences
- Accompany sister-residents to Mass and other activities throughout the day, fostering a sense of community and belonging
- Communicate effectively with NOL TCC and Hospice staff regarding the health of the sister-residents as appropriate
- Assist with the care of clothing, personal items, mail, and phone to ensure our residents feel comfortable and supported
- Provide gifts for birthdays, holidays, and special occasions to bring joy to our residents
- Participate in Sister Gatherings, special lunches, and events to build relationships and create meaningful connections
Requirements:
- Able to work collaboratively as a member of a team, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards our residents
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills, maintaining confidentiality and making appropriate decisions
- Patient and sensitive to the needs of elderly individuals, with a spirit of harmony and cooperation
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and on-call duties
