Key Responsibilities:

Service Support: Act as a backup for Service Technicians, providing coverage during absences and additional support as needed. Temporarily fill in on routes awaiting assignment to a regular Technician.

Pest Management: Conduct inspections to identify pest activity sources. Deliver services to residential and commercial clients for Active Pest Control. Execute exterior sealing on properties to prevent rodent and wildlife entry. Perform inspections for wood-destroying organisms and treat for dry wood and subterranean termites, fungi, and beetles. Install and maintain termite control systems for clients.

Minor Construction and Repair: Engage in light construction tasks including patios, doors, eaves, walls, and floors. Assist Repair Technicians with wood damage replacement.

Continuous Learning: Gain expertise in the range of Active Pest Control products and services. Stay updated on industry trends, technology, and regulations. Participate in employer-sponsored training on new methods, products, and services provided by Active Pest Control. Obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications as required by federal, state, and local regulations, funded by Active Pest Control.

Position Requirements:
- Successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday shifts during peak demand.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Customer-facing experience is preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools.
- Comfortable working at heights (e.g., climbing ladders up to 20 feet).
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs.
- Willingness to learn about Active Pest Control products and services.
- Comfortable working independently after a training period.

Compensation:
Base pay starts at $21.83 per hour. In addition to base pay, colleagues who have completed training may qualify for additional compensation, including overtime, incentives, and/or commission pay. Total annual earnings may vary based on performance, assigned routes, and achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
