Regional Survey Manager

Cannon Corp is seeking a highly skilled Regional Survey Manager to lead our surveying team in Southern California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing survey projects, maintaining existing clients, and conducting business development to expand our surveying services to new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage survey projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including public agencies, developers, schools, universities, energy producers, and water companies.
- Conduct business development activities to identify new business opportunities and expand our surveying services.
- Develop and manage proposals, cost estimates, and schedules for survey projects.
- Represent Cannon Corp and our clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, equipment vendors, and material suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Mentor and manage employees to ensure their growth and development.
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible work experience in land surveying.
- PLS certification required.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting and organization.
- Proven ability to manage a technical team and work effectively with peers, project managers, team members, and clients.
- Experience in business development, obtaining new and repeat business.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Land Surveyor's Act, Subdivision Map Act, and applicable state and local agency regulations governing land surveying.
- Experience reviewing deeds and title documents, performing property boundary analysis and calculations, and interpreting historical survey records.
- Performs research, compiles evidence for establishing project survey control and boundary determinations, and provides office land surveying services.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software and survey field equipment.
- Must have an active California Driver's license with a clear driving record and proof of valid auto insurance.
