Mammography Specialist

Objective
Human Longevity, Inc. is in search of a proficient and dedicated Mammography Specialist to enhance our imaging department. The Mammography Specialist will be tasked with conducting high-caliber mammographic assessments in line with established protocols and standards. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong dedication to patient care, exceptional technical expertise, and the capability to thrive in a dynamic clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct mammographic assessments, including both screening and diagnostic procedures, ensuring optimal imaging quality and patient comfort.
  • Manage and maintain mammography apparatus, ensuring operational efficiency and cleanliness.
  • Comply with safety regulations and protocols to safeguard both patient and staff, including the appropriate application of radiation protection measures.
  • Deliver empathetic and professional care to patients, elucidating procedures and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to guarantee precise and prompt interpretation of mammographic images.
  • Maintain thorough patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Stay informed about advancements in mammography technology and methodologies through ongoing education and training.
  • Engage in quality assurance and enhancement initiatives to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Perform DEXA body compositions and CT calcium scoring as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Mammography.
  • Valid California Radiologic Technologist license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography.
  • Strong technical abilities and proficiency in operating mammography equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Familiarity with current mammography regulations and standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with digital mammography and advanced imaging techniques.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
