Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Press Room Management
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency in the press room.
    • Assist in troubleshooting printing issues and implement corrective actions.
    • Manage press improvement projects to enhance productivity and quality.
    • Facilitate communication between production teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Production Coordination
    • Attend production meetings to discuss ongoing projects and address any concerns.
    • Review and coordinate corrections to sales estimates, production estimates, and work instructions to minimize errors.
    • Facilitate and coordinate the completion of change order management forms.
  • Floor Leadership
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols and 6S standards.
    • Hold employees accountable for maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
    • Effectively communicate business goals and targets to the team and ensure they are met.
    • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Operational Management
    • Continuously monitor and improve safety and quality standards.
    • Communicate effectively with employees to ensure understanding of company policies and procedures.
    • Meet or exceed lead time and on-time delivery targets.
    • Reduce production-related quality occurrences.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of previous leadership experience in a flexographic printing environment, plus 5 years of flexographic printing experience.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing processes, procedures, and techniques, quality systems, and standards.
  • Strong knowledge of machines, tools, technology, business management practices, and principles.
  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and the ability to learn specialized software programs (Label Traxx).
