Job Title: Flexographic Printing Supervisor

Symbiotic Services is seeking a skilled Flexographic Printing Supervisor to oversee shop employees in a flexo print manufacturing environment. This role is based in Brea, California, and operates on the second shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement improvements to reduce waste percentage and set-up times.
  • Assist in troubleshooting jobs on press and manage press improvement projects.
  • Facilitate conversations between the Production team to keep the department updated on improvements, challenges, or changes.
  • Ensure presses have all the required resources.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Business preferred.
  • 3+ years of previous leadership experience in a flexographic printing environment.
  • 5 years of flexographic printing experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and techniques, quality systems, and standards.
  • Proficiency with machines, tools, technology, business management practices, and principles.
  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and the ability to learn specialized software programs (Label Traxx).

Work Environment:
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
