At Leonardo Helicopters, we are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Aerospace Systems Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support for components qualification and certification activities for hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the integration, verification, validation, qualification, and certification of hydraulic systems to meet company safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Review relevant documentation for compliance to FAA and EASA requirements.
  • Prepare and modify technical documentation as needed.
  • Troubleshoot new installations and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) validations on aircraft.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an engineering environment, preferably in aerospace.
  • Good knowledge of aircraft hydraulic systems installations and standard aeronautical design, qualification, and certification procedures.
  • Proven experience in analyzing hydraulic systems and creating engineering reports.
