Job Title: Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at the City of Philadelphia. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our complex IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cross-platform technologies, including data storage, backup disaster recovery, and network security.
  • Administer and manage active directory, endpoint management, and server management systems.
  • Develop and implement backup solutions and ensure data security continuity.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure high-quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide primary support for infrastructure systems and applications upgrade, deployments, and migration activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in solution engineering, system upgrades, patch management, enterprise backup, and recovery.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-standard security protocols and systems management.
