About the Role

As a System Safety Engineer III, you will be part of our talented team in Philadelphia, working on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of rotorcraft flight control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough safety analyses to support aircraft design, development, and certification, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate hazards, develop and implement safety metrics, and report status to leadership.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies, such as the FAA, to justify assessments and aircraft design in the context of safety.
  • Support supply chain management and procurement activities to ensure vendor deliverables meet safety standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in system safety, with expertise in ARP-4761 or NASA CSRM.
  • 2+ years of experience participating in commercial aircraft certification programs.
  • Experience applying Systems Engineering standards, such as ARP-4754, ARP-4761, or NASA CSRM.
  • Proficiency in conducting Fault Tree Analysis using tools like Isograph Reliability Workbench.
