Stress Test Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Stress Test Technician to join our team at Advocate Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing stress tests, interpreting ECG results, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform stress tests and ECG interpretations to diagnose cardiovascular conditions
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and test results
- Assist with patient positioning and transportation, utilizing proper technique and safety protocols
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No experience required, but completion of an approved basic ECG interpretation course within one year of hire is preferred
This role requires frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of equipment and patients, as well as the ability to wear protective clothing as needed. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
