Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and talented engineering students to join our Engineering Internship Program. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your problem-solving and technical skills to increase safety, efficiency, reliability, and productivity in our manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply your problem-solving and technical skills to increase safety, efficiency, reliability, and productivity in our manufacturing environments
  • Tackle real-world, value-added projects that support production and project engineering throughout a plant
  • Innovate and improve processes and troubleshoot problems
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve common goals
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree-granting program with a major in Engineering
  • Expected graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026
  • Completed at least one semester/quarter/trimester of engineering coursework related to your major before starting the internship
  • Ability to think critically and get excited about troubleshooting technical challenges
  • Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize projects and responsibilities independently
  • Shares a sincere commitment to Ingevity's culture of safety, sustainability, and integrity
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous internship(s) or work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree majors in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026
