Electrical Engineer as Project Lead for Battery Validation and Testing

**Job Summary**

Quantum Ventures is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to lead our battery validation and testing efforts as a Project Engineer. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing comprehensive testing programs for high-voltage batteries.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement test strategies and plans for battery component validation, ensuring compliance with relevant automotive test standards.
  • Manage resources, time, and cost plans for the entire validation program, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create test specifications and procedures for component validation, focusing on functional, environmental, and durability testing.
  • Supervise and manage internal and external battery component tests, interpreting results and deriving development measures to improve battery performance.
  • Provide technical, organizational, and commercial support to the development team, particularly in the area of thermal propagation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to customers, providing qualified and actionable insights.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, automotive engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in testing and validation for lithium-ion batteries in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of relevant automotive test standards (GB38031, LV124, LV123, ECE R100, ECE R10) is required.
